

Why This Program
Women GAIN Rwanda is a women-founded non-governmental organization that promotes women’s participation in leadership and decision-making by empowering young women through leadership skills training, vocational training, and digital literacy training. Officially established in April 2023 with the operational certificate No 1211/RGB/NGO/OC/04/2023, the organization conforms with Rwandan law and strives to bridge gender gaps in leadership and decision-making. Through its initiatives, Women GAIN Rwanda aims to create opportunities for young women to develop essential skills, build networks, and actively engage in civic life.
Target Audience
Young women aged 18-30 in leadership or aspiring to take leadership positions, including:

The Intwari Women Project aims to address the gaps in young women’s leadership development through tailored training, mentorship, and networking opportunities. By fostering confidence, skills, and professional connections, the project seeks to empower a new generation of women leaders who will contribute meaningfully to governance and civic engagement in Rwanda. The initiative aspires to create sustainable and transformative change through impactful collaborations, innovative activities, and robust monitoring, ensuring a brighter and more equitable future for all.
